Rock Crystal and Green Jasper Urn, 20th Century Continental

A unique and truly one of a kind hand carved continental rock crystal and green jasper urn. Sitting atop the urn are multiple highly detailed bird sculptures, hand carved from green jasper. The birds are perched around the rim and depicted in a lifelike manner as though drinking from a bird bath. The body of the urn is hand carved from rock crystal and detailed with floral and leaf patterns, along with depictions of angels, and sits atop a circular base of green jasper.
